Hello, I’m Zaid Rehami,
A Graphic Designer currently based in Houston, TX, a rising junior pursuing my BFA in Graphic Design at the University of Houston.
The UH Graphic Design program is highly selective, admitting fewer than 24 students per year, and ranks among the top design schools in Texas and the United States. As part of this rigorous curriculum, I’ve explored diverse disciplines, including branding, typography, web and print design, motion graphics, UX/UI, and exhibition design.
Professionally, as a Communication Design Intern at The Village Centers, I developed critical skills in branding, visual storytelling, and layout design, applying these to comprehensive print and digital projects such as newsletters, brochures, social media graphics, and event promotional materials. Additionally, my role at Ruby Signs as a Lead Designer expanded my expertise into environmental and signage design, managing projects from concept through production.
When I’m not designing, I enjoy watching basketball, listening to music, and exploring new restaurants around Houston.
I’m currently seeking internship opportunities in graphic or UX design and would greatly appreciate learning about available roles.
