The Village Centers
The Village Centers, a nonprofit in Kingwood, TX, creates inclusive environments supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They aimed to refresh their brand identity, enhance internal consistency, and effectively communicate their values and community-focused mission. As a Communication Design Intern, I developed various print and digital assets that reinforced their visual identity, streamlined internal communications, and improved community outreach.
The stationery package and business cards leverage vibrant colors and dynamic shapes reflecting diversity, unity, and community spirit—key pillars of the organization's identity. The geometric patterns symbolize growth and connectivity, aligning with The Village Centers' mission to foster inclusive communities.
I redesigned internal documents, including pre-employment forms, HIPAA agreements, and asset authorizations, improving readability, organization, and consistency. Clear layouts and intuitive form structures streamlined internal processes and elevated professional standards throughout the organization.
This brochure serves as a concise and engaging overview of The Village Centers' programs and services. Thoughtful typography, strategic use of color blocks, and clear hierarchy enhance readability and engagement, effectively communicating the organization's community impact to diverse audiences.
